The staff members were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, even without us asking for it, making our stay very pleasant. The owner was very helpful and friendly. There was free parking just outside the hotel, a simple breakfast was included in the price plus free wifi. In the village there are a couple of bars, and a nearby village had a few restaurants for a good lunchtime meal. We were visiting Garabandal which is a few miles away so the Posada de Fidel was an ideal location.

Nice clean hotel, with a good breakfast in a quite location
The only thing as a minor negative is that they serve breakfast but no lunch or dinner, there is a cafe bar just outside and another hotel with a resturant across the road but it would have been nice to have eaten inside our hotel.

A charming hotel in a picturesque location surrounded by beautiful mountains. the owner went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable, even though we didn't speak the same language. He provided a secure garage for our rental car and organized a taxi to local attractions. the room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the hotel's proximity to local bars and restaurants.
The wi-fi connection wasn't reliable, which was frustrating as I needed to check emails for work. Breakfast was basic with just bread, juice, and coffee;
